Through our partnership with the Allscripts Developer Program, we are working towards our mutual desire to be a truly open, connected community of health. Our certified partnership delivers the benefits of point-of-care (POC) connectivity to practices which use the Allscripts Professional and TouchWorks EHRs.

Allscripts Developer Program

Our partnership comes via the Allscripts Developer Program (ADP) — a program that aims to support their clients in the ever changing healthcare landscape by introducing them to new products and disruptive technologies. The aim is, not to add new features to their EHRs but to make them easier to use, resulting in a greater return on investment.

This persistence to improve healthcare outcomes across their clientbase is central to maximize an open, connected community of health. They recognize that their clients want to maximise the value of Allscripts EHRs, which has a knock-on benefit to practice productivity.

Our inclusion in the program is a testament to their trust in Relaymed to deliver valuable benefits to point-of-care workflows.

Relaymed: An Allscripts Developer Partner

Practices across the United States are looking for ways to improve the quality of care that they provide, since incentives rely more on the value of care, as opposed to the volume of patients. Allscripts recognize Relaymed as a product that can do exactly that and, as a result, they have made us an Allscripts Certified Application. In order to achieve this status, our application was thoroughly tested for security and user experience, to ensure that we were trustworthy, as well as value adding.

This means that Relaymed can now be found in the Allscripts Application Store, making it simple for Allscripts users to integrate Relaymed into their POC workflow. As a certified ADP partner, the lab interface fee is waived, so won’t cost you a thing. We are the only POC connectivity solution that can make this claim, giving Allscripts clients a great reason to start using Relaymed.

As Allscripts Professional and TouchWorks EHRs are amongst our growing number of compatible EHRs, users can integrate Relaymed seamlessly into their POC workflow. Unlike an over complicated laboratory information system (LIS), we don’t rely on outdated and costly servers, that come with a laborious onboarding process and ongoing maintenance—you can be up and running in a matter of hours. Follow the lead of our existing Allscripts clients and unlock the benefits today.

A Connected Community of Data

Through their ADP collaborations, Allscripts are able to share information that each of their partner apps need, such as test orders. By creating this network of partnered applications, over 180,000 physicians and healthcare providers benefit from the data, which is critical to offering a higher quality healthcare under the premise of population health management. Your practice can benefit greatly from this data too.

To date, this has accounted for a massive 3.5 billion data shares using their APIs, a total to which Relaymed has become a significant contributor. With all of our access to data from users, patients, results and orders, we are able to create a seamless and valuable integration. You can read more about our EHR integration methodologies here.

These interfaces are long established and, most importantly, they work — for each practice and the healthcare industry as a whole.
