No matter if you’re a solo practice or a nationwide chain, you can choose between two installation models.
Install on any existing server and a single agent can manage all devices within your organization, no matter the number of devices or locations, if they are on the same network.
Or just install the agent on any local PC. If you have more than one location you can install multiple instances of the agent, typically one at each of your locations.
The agent in detail.
A lightweight TCP/IP application, it can communicate with devices using all connectivity protocols, including HL7, ASTM, and POCT1-A, as well as any proprietary formats. After receiving the message from the device, it is relayed securely to our cloud using HTTPS (TLS 1.2 encrypted).
You don’t need a dedicated server or PC to install the Agent on. Anything existing will do the job, just make sure:
- Windows client version is currently supported by Microsoft
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 is installed
- Sleep mode is disabled
- A static IP address is assigned
